The European Commission is looking for research and innovation projects on energy-efficient building design and heat recovery technologies.
A total indicative budget of EUR 9 million and EUR 8 million respectively is available. Projects will be implemented under the contractual Public Private Partnerships on Energy-efficient Buildings (EeB) and on Sustainable Process Industry through Resource and Energy Efficiency (SPIRE).

Please submit your funding proposals by 4 February 2015 via the Horizon 2020 Participant Portal.

Save the date: Information Day on 2015 calls

In December, there will be 14 new funding opportunities for energy-efficiency projects under the Horizon 2020 programme.
The European Commission is organising an Information Day on 12 December 2014 in Brussels to present these funding opportunities to potential applicants. Further information on this event (programme & registration) will be available on the EASME website by end of October.

Update: Latest news on 2014 calls

In 2014, a total of 456 funding proposals for energy-efficiency projects were submitted under Horizon 2020 (closing dates of 20 March and 5 June 2014). For most proposals evaluation is still ongoing. All applicants will be notified by 5 November 2014.

Join the debate: Conference on “Innovative financing for energy efficiency & renewables”

Innovative ways of financing energy efficiency and renewable energy projects will be discussed during a conference organised by EASME on 8 October in Brussels. Representatives of municipalities and regional authorities are invited to discuss how to best set up and finance investments in public buildings, street lighting and housing. Participation is free of charge, though prior registration is required.
